Other scaling options include cutting the rep scheme down to just 9-15-21.

If you’ve never done bounding broad jumps then scale to lateral jumps. They will be programmed again in the future as a stand alone for you to work on. It takes a lot of coordination for you to cycle your legs quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
